Our journey in machine part production began in 1979, when M. Emin Akkuş and M. Sıtkı Akkuş established a 150 m² workshop, utilizing basic universal machines. From the outset, the goal was to produce high-quality and durable parts to meet industry needs. This period marked the foundation of our company, laying the groundwork for future successes and setting the stage for the achievements to come.
In the 1990s, with the rapid advancements in technology, our company underwent a significant transformation. During this period, we transitioned to computer-aided CNC machines, modernizing our production processes. This upgrade not only enhanced the quality of our products but also greatly improved production speed. By adopting CNC technology, we were able to produce more precise and efficient products, strengthening our competitiveness in the market.
At the beginning of the 2000s, second-generation managers took the reins of the company. During this time, significant investments were made to increase production capacity and establish a broader market presence. We expanded our machinery and equipment, and also founded AKGÜL KALIP MAK. SAN. VE TİC. LTD. ŞTİ., shifting our focus from automotive spare parts to hydraulic products. With the launch of the OLEOCON brand, we started producing hydraulic automatic couplings (quick couplings), marking the beginning of our expertise in this field.
In the 2010s, we strengthened our presence in the Turkish market with the OLEOCON brand, significantly expanding our share of the hydraulic fittings industry. We broadened our product range to include hydraulic ball valves, manual hand pumps, flow control valves, check valves, hose burst protection valves, and rotary coupling fittings. This expansion enabled us to cater to a wider array of customer needs, providing a more comprehensive product offering.
2013 marked a significant milestone in our commitment to quality, as we introduced a custom-built testing unit for conducting comprehensive product tests. This unit is capable of performing permeability, leak, lifespan, and burst tests, ensuring the safety and durability of our products. In the same year, we took our first steps in promoting the OLEOCON brand internationally by participating in our first international trade show, CTT Moscow. This event played a key role in increasing our global brand recognition and solidified our presence in the international market.
In 2025, we continue to strengthen our position as a leading company in the hydraulic products industry. With years of experience, innovation, and commitment to quality, we are now focused on expanding our international presence even further.
