Advantages

  • Oleocon Push Pull Quick Couplings minimize pressure drops and turbulences.
  • The outer socket can turn in either direction (clockwise or counter-clockwise), which provides ease of use under heavy working conditions.
  • High quality elastomer seals provide maximum protection aganist leakage.
  • Connection under residual pressure is not allowed.
  • The compact and aesthetic design of the Oleocon Push Pull Quick Couplings provides safety and ease of use.

How To Use

  • Before connecting Oleocon Push Pull Quick Couplings, clean the mating surfaces thoroughly, in order to prevent contaminants to enter into the system.
  • Align the male and female couplings with each other and push to connect.
  • Please make sure that the male and female couplings are aligned properly and keep in mind that if one of the couplings is fixed, the other must be mobile enough to tolerate leakage and to achieve proper connection.
  • To connect, pull the sleeve of the female coupling back, align it with the male coupling and push one to the other until it is fully connected.
  • To disconnect, pull back the sleeve of the female coupling, and pull the male halve out.

Points To Consider

  • Make sure the oil in the system is clean.
  • Do not expose the female coupling to pressure when disconnected.
  • Do not connect or disconnect the couplings when the fluid is circulating in the system or when the system is under dynamic pressure. (For ex., When the pump is working)
  • Do not connect or disconnect the couplings when the temperature of the circulating fluid is above 80 ℃ / 176 ℉.
  • Make sure the system pressure is below the maximum allowable working pressure.
  • Make sure all filters and cooling systems are working properly.
  • Make sure that the seals and the materials of the product conform to the working environment. If you are not sure, contact Oleocon technical services.
  • Oleocon products used in systems that do not follow these conditions are out of the scope of warranty.
